This Nando's is located in Feltham... lovely, lovely Feltham... At least this is located opposite Feltham Green with a nice little duck pond. There's a Cineworld and a Tenpin Bowling alley a few minutes walk through the Green... but I imagine most people will keep driving through Feltham... Anyways...

There's a big ol' Tesco just before you get to the Nando's on the High Street (coming from the M3), so park in there for a couple free hours. You can also park at the cinema/bowling alley for free and be just a few minutes walk away. The Centre Feltham Shopping has a multi-storey that charges - so go with Tesco. Feltham Train Station is just a five minute walk away too.

I arrived here at about 2pm so needless to say it was pretty quiet and I had my choice of seats - and I mean that literally as there wasn't a host to be seen and not just for me, but for the few sets of people who came in after me too. The girl on the till made up for that though as she was very pleasant.

This Nando's is set back slightly from the High Street so it gives a bit of room for some outside seating under big umbrellas - probably only for the hardcore Feltham fans. It also has two sides of the restaurant fully glazed so it would probably be pretty bright inside, if the brown/beige shades weren't all the way down to the bottom. I guess the staff really don't like seeing Feltham on this day. It was a shame as a lot of the lighting wasn't on either which made for it to be a little dark inside.

The lighting is mainly long beige cones and there are plenty of them. The seating is mainly tables/chairs but there is a large circular booth to the right of the till and a couple more booths towards the back. There are a few canvasses above all these booths.

It was all very average, except for the fact on this occasion it was dirty. The (three) glass(es) I was given for my water were all dirty. The many bits of cutlery I picked up were all dirty (and I ain't talking about water marks I mean dried food). Where I sat had chips on the floor and sauce spilled on the table. The toilets had puddles of water under the urinals. Shame. Also, there is no hand dryer in the men's toilets, just paper towels.

The food came in 18 minutes and was a bit of a let down. The chips were soggy and cold and the rice was cold. The chicken burger was actually pretty nice. A nice large piece of chicken breast which was piping hot and smothered in sauce, loads of lettuce and a big slice of tomato on a nice piece of bread. The Extra Extra Hot sauce bottle was strange though. It was made up of just oil. I took the lid off and poured a load of it down the sink as I thought it had separated and then gave it a good old shake, but it came out looking like the peri-drizzle. I tried two other bottles of Extra Extra Hot sauce too but both were the same. Not sure what happened there.

Probably won't be going back to Feltham if I can help it.

Wow, I missed you by a day and a half. This branch is very temperamental with the food and the service. Great review though, I know to avoid it at lunch time
