This new Nando's is on High Road in North Finchley. It's a half mile walk from Woodside Park underground station or about 3/4 mile from West Finchley. Nando's is on the corner of Stanhope Road and High Road and on Stanhope road parking is available priced Mon-Sat 8am-5pm at 83p/30mins, £1.66/1hr, £2.50/90mins, £3.33/2hrs and £4.16/max. There's a Vue cinema back down High Road at Finchley Lido (where the other Nando's is).
Arrived here at around 8pm and it was about half full. There are plenty of 4-seater round tables, all underneath some very large lanterns. The walls are covered in canvas paintings of all sizes. Toilets are very bright, tiled in lots of little yellow, green, pink and blue triangles.
I went for the boneless platter, with chips, coleslaw, rice and greens/grains and it came in just over 10 minutes. I was given corn on the cob instead of the greens/grains but this was replaced straight away. What a let down the chicken was. The butterfly chicken breast was so dry - it was difficult to chew. No amount of sauce or water could make me swallow this easily... The thigh fillets were, on the other-hand, very juicy and saucy. The chip portion was an average size but were pretty cold and soggy. Everything else was just fine.
Staff were fine and doing as expected.
