Seated 20 minutes after the initial 20 minutes we were told smack bang in the middle of the restaurant. A table of 8 for two tables of four, no real partition.
Confusing waiting area, not sure whether people we're queuing to order, waiting for take away or waiting for a table.
Tried something different using my orange reward for a free single chicken wrap with halloumi and a pineapple slice, mango and lime of course, large peri chips and another portion of halloumi. I should have stuck to my usual meal. The wrap wasn't executed well, large chunks of dry chicken, not diced up like I've previously had, halloumi slightly burned and mildly ripe pineapple slice. Not much sauce inside it either. The chips arrived in a huge plate. When asking for take away for the chips the lady brought over a bag. She got a bit funny when I asked for a box, but that's how they send it take away. Dunno what she was thinking.
When the guy had arrived with the food he brought it on the other side of the table with the intention to stretch it across over to me. Nuh uh, bring that around my friend. Delivery was average Nando's time which was good considering how busy the place was.
The branch is opposite Hollywood Bowls and a Vue cinema inside a leisure park. Plenty to do whilst waiting. If they had said half an hour instead of twenty minutes then we could have spent more time in the arcades. Not much by the way if decorations but I did notice a sculpted Barci in the wall above the grill. It seemed like the person before me visiting the toilet knew the tissue was running out so stuffed it all down the toilet, then didn't flush. Luckily I could use the next one as the lady before vacated it after some time.
It was okay but that's what happens with a spontaneous Nando's visit.
