Fulham Broadway - Blaynos Review
Popped down to this branch at about half 7 on a Saturday evening. Would have gone earlier but imagined the area would be extremely busy with Chelsea and Bradford fans post-match, with Stamford Bridge just down the road (and we were watching Liverpool anyway).
Terrific location for a Nando's. It's inside a small shopping centre, which sits above Fulham Broadway tube station (District line, Wimbledon branch). There's no shortage of restaurants on the upper level, all of a similar price range, including Pizza Express and Wagamama. There's also a Vue cinema. It's a stunning Nando's - looks brand new; shiny and clean. By some fluke, managed to get inside and order immediately without a queue - although the next people to queue up had to wait a while for a table.
Ordering went smoothly, the service station is pretty big (and well stocked) located by the cashier/kitchen area. There's seating available by the tills for takeaway orders and, even though the entrance is next to the tills, there's no real draft because it's in the shopping centre. Food came after an average wait and, for such a good looking branch, my expectations were sadly not met. Peri chips were woefully under-salted, chicken in my burger was overdone and my halloumi was a bit under-done and extremely oily (even by halloumi standards!)
Will likely return at some point and hopefully the food will match the outstanding aesthetics of the branch.
