Gaithersburg - snowcover Review
This is my second "home" branch - it's slightly further away than the Bethesda branch, but I usually come here when I want to dine in with friends, since it has more tables as well as a very nice outdoor seating area overlooking the Washingtonian lake. The indoor area is also a bit nicer than the standard layout, since it is narrower and not as cramped. The main dining area has a long row of booths along the wall, with a line of standalone tables down the middle (not multiple lines of tables as in other branches). There is also a room off to the side with a huge, long booth dotted with two-top tables that can be pushed together or pulled apart for various party sizes, plus a row of four-top tables along the other side of the room. This small room can get a bit loud if there's a particularly boisterous party occupying it, but it's not usually too bad. As mentioned, though, the gem of this branch is the outdoor patio, which is the nicest out of all of the DC area locations.
There is a carpark located directly across the street (Boardwalk Place), but this one can get very crazy on weekends and especially evenings when the cinema gets busy. There is another carpark just on the opposite side of the cinema that is much larger and never gets as crazy. It is also accessible by the Ride On bus lines 54 (from the Rockville metro station, which runs 7 days/week) and 74 (from the Shady Grove station, which is faster but only runs on weekdays).
