Glasgow - Silverburn - Pompey Ranger Review
This store is located in the giant Silverburn shopping centre, with the car park being so massive i would suggest heading down to the tescos end of the car park. The store isn't so much a store but a seating area in the mall with the service hatch in the wall and is surrounded by TkMax, the post office and a pizza hut. There are no walls just low level barriers which the tables are pressed up against, the draw back of this is the ginger kids banging on your table as they walk past because their mothers are too high on crystal meth to control them, or worse the coughing elderly blokes staggering past on their way to the post office. Some tables were shielded by the large queue of people waiting for their table but this again is uncomfortable as they are just watching you eat while they wait. It needs a proper barrier to screen it off from the marauding public of the mall as I did not feel happy to have my phone or anything on the table and was unhappy about leaving my coat on the chair whilst at the beverage station. The large painting on the wall was excellent but overall due to the design I can't rate this store high.
We had a long wait to get a table though at least for the last 5 minutes of the wait we were able to sit on stools rather than standing round the perimeter. The staff on whole were very friendly and welcoming and so they get a high score.
We had a bit of a wait but this is partly to be expected by the large numbers of people. When the food did come out it was excellently cooked and a real bonus plus the larger Scottish chickens also make it worthwhile.
I probably wouldn't come back to this store just as i don't like eating in a busy walkway.
