We arrived at Nando’s Springfield Quay, Glasgow tonight around 7.30pm after already having been turned away from two Nando’s restaurants due to business. The lovely young man at the door in Springfield Quay informed us that unfortunately this Nando’s also had an extremely long wait (1hr 40min) and they therefore were no longer taking names onto the wait list. Seeing I was visibly distraught and very heavily pregnant he asked for our names and I explained I’m not normally (very embarrassingly) emotional about food but that due to the pregnancy I’d had a craving all day and we had already been turned away from 2 previous Nando establishments to which he spoke to his manager who very kindly granted us access and we were escorted to a table immediately with no queueing involved. This simple act of kindness by Connor and his manager made a very hormonal and emotional pregnant lady’s day and I couldn’t be more grateful. Thank you Connor for your great customer service and thoughtfulness. Rachel & David.
