Glasgow - St Enoch - Pompey Ranger Review
This store is in the large inner city shopping centre at the St Enoch Square pedestrianised area by the subway station. There is a row of large red plant pots with trees that mark out the summer time seating area (upon what day the Glasgow summer occurs I'm not sure but good to see they are prepared for when it does). Upon entering I was met by a queue and the friendly welcomer informed me I would have a half hour wait for a seat (since I'm on a Nandos tour I decided to wait) Several others also came in and left when they were told they would have between a half hour and 45 minute wait so I think you need another store in this area. The seating was nice in this small store and lots of benches and forms. The toilets were upstairs in a pod that had windows into the store and was bedecked in wooden lath and the corridor was lined in copper coloured metal. This store is highly decorated.
When I eventually did get a seat I was straight up to order, the staff are friendly and jovial and spoke with you and made jokes as they meandered around the store cleaning.
When my chicken eventually arrived it was spot on, a succulent large breast (Scottish chicken consistently larger than its south of the border cousins) dripping with sauce, perfectly cooked chips and a sweet fresh crisp salad.
Definitely a good store to visit if ever in the area.
