Gloucester Road - Marc Joss Review

When it was confirmed that there would be 7 of us visiting this Nando's on a Thursday lunchtime, I decided to phone the branch around an hour before our arrival to check availability and they kindly said they would keep a table for us which may not be that case at other branches.
On arrival, I was warmly welcomed and ended up having a genuine chat with the manager before the rest of my party arrived. The branch itself is a 2 minute walk from Gloucester Street Tube station which is on the Piccadilly, Circle and District lines. It is within walking distance of the main museums in the Kensighton area such as the Science, Natural History and Victoria and Albert.
The restaurant is set out on two levels although you can only order on the ground level which could be an area for future improvement.
By the time I had ordered for the 7 people in my group, got cutlery and sauces, my food had arrived and I actually sat down after my food for the first time ever! Immaculate service! Everyone else was served within a few minutes and food was of a high standard. I was introducing some Portuguese friends to Nando's for the first time and they were rather impressed if not slightly intimidated by the spiciness!
The flash red lighting downstairs combined with the tin can collage make the decor unique and welcoming. All in all, an excellent Nando's.
