Great Portland Street - Archive Review

walking into the Great Portland Street Nandos one is welcomed by a spacious, well organised and lively Nandos. The first time I went i was shyly looking around for a table when a member of staff jumped to my rescue and seated myself and my friends in a comfy booth. Having forgot to get our cutlery and plates, the our helpful waitress sped over to the cutlery station and provided us with everything we would need to enjoy our chicken including a range of sauces.

A trip to toilets in the Great Portland Street Nandos was another surprise unlike some other Nandos toilets which i have found cramped and badly lit. These toilets were separated into individual huts. The huts were gaudy, colourful and well lit making the whole dining experience that little bit better.

The food was delivered quickly and was exactly what i expected from Nandos. The chicken was succulent and tender; the peri-peri sauce was as mouth watering as ever and the Mediterranean salad, my personal favourite side, was filled with olives and feta (a lot more than usual). Having polished off our food our plates were quickly tidied up allowing us to recline at our table without having to gaze at the destruction on the table.

When we gathered the strength to leave the staff wished us a warm farewell and really made us feel as though we had been a joy to serve.
