Greenford - Gerry Louis Review
The last day of the year so wanted to end 2019 on 214 Nando's not 213. I forget this one exists as its not in town but easy enough to get to by Central Line or Piccadilly and local buses. Plenty of parking too.
Got there just before 6pm, easy to find, was not that busy so I picked a nice round table in the corner by the window. No queue, ordered my food but as i was going to my table, a couple were being seated there. As I told them I already had the table, it was awkward for the Nandoca to lead them to another table, not her fault, the guy who gave it to me hadn't reserved it with the cock stick.
Anyway, the food didn't take long to arrive, a whole chicken mango and lime (unbeknownst to me as the last time), sweet mash, a portion of halloumi and garlic bread. I believe the whole chicken was free. It was nice, the mash was watery, had chunks and little flavour. The chicken wasn't burnt which is always great, neither the garlic bread nor the halloumi were given enough grilling time.
It's a relatively new branch so it's still clean, nothing broken, nice decor and paintings. Large open plan, tables not too close together, a lot of colour and things to look at. The toilet was already broken, it's always a shame when the toilets aren't looked after as well as front of house. When you've had a good meal but the toilets are bad, you will always remember that.
