My second trip to Dubai was short but sweet, yet I still managed to hunt down a Nando's that I hadn't visited on my first trip to the UAE at the same time last year. This time it was The Greens which was fairly close to the Marina area and we got there in a taxi.

This Nando's looks impressive from the outside and has a big Barcelo planted on the side of the building making it easy to spot! We arrived and were warmly welcomed by a Nandoca sporting a t-shirt about the brand new mango and lime flavour.

We took a look at the menu which included several items you wouldn't find in the UK such as peri-peri assorted chips, the Cataplana, chicken tenders and the chicken caeser wrap. I opted for the chicken wrap to see how it compares with the UK version. A Nandoca came over to take our orders and gently encouraged us to order a starter while we were at it, but we thought a main course would suffice.

I have to say the wrap was very tasty, although it could have been spicier. I had it with peri chips (delicious) and red skin mashed potato which I thoroughly enjoyed, particularly with a touch of perinaise. My wife went for the quinoa salad with lemon and herb chicken which she liked, but it wasn't quite as scrumptious as the UK dish.

Having to order drinks made a change because we are always tap water consumers in the UK, but that's not an option in Dubai. The bill ended up coming to around £20 each which is more than we're used to, but the general price is higher and it's table service so I guess you'd expect it to cost more.

I was very pleased to visit my fourth Nando's in Dubai and am looking forward to checking out how Nando's in the USA and Canada stack up in the summer!
