Another Nando's in the UAE and I have to say that at this point I wasn't expecting much unfortunately. The restaurant is located near The Greens residential area with lots of expats, so it was quite busy on a Friday night. The weather was a lovely 28 degrees, so we decided to sit outside in a nice booth. One thing I noticed was that the outside area didn't have the outdoor air-conditioning units which are common in Dubai. Therefore I'm guessing it could be too hot in the summer months!
We ordered at the table as usual, and the Nandoca brought us over a Wild Herb and Medium sauce - misjudged the table slightly! The food then came in about 15 minutes and was unfortunately quite average. There is just something about the Nando's chicken in the UAE which doesn't taste as good as back in the UK (or other international branches I've visited). The double wrap was well constructed, but wasn't particularly spicy, and the chicken was quite tough and flavourless.
Overall, it was good to be able to tick this Nando's off the list, but there are still quite a few more to try, so not sure I'll be returning!
