Greenwich - Peninsula - Gerry Louis Review
I should have walked but I listened to one of the locals who told me to get any bus from stand B at North Greenwich tube station. Ended up having to walk for twenty minutes from the motorway because the one bus I got on didn't stop outside the Nando's or 'Nan' as the lights say...
Got there just after 9 pm and was greeted by Chris, very cute host. I saw table 25 was free, he gave it to me otherwise I would have been waiting for a while he said when I tried to change my mind about the table. Fair enough. Went to the till to order to order and Oni repeated everything I asked for correctly also asking for preference of chicken. I chose leg as it's easier to eat accompanied by peri chips and garlic bread.
Dunno what the 22 plus minute wait was for. I even let them move me to table 24 for a group of six but still no food arrived. When it did it was warm but they were really nice to be so I won't score them terribly.
Ugh the toilets. Both were a bit flooded so I used the one with less and there was tissue all over the floor. Where I sat in the restaurant, to the right as you come in there is a long picture separated into three frames which was really cool but I didn't look around at decorations as I read my book whilst I waited.
The branch is kinda small but there is seating outside though for 9pm I would advise against it. The branch was okay, would probably have to do again another time. Saturday night date night with a cinema complex etc next door and two events on at The O2 probably not the best time.
