Greenwich - Village - DanB Review
This is a brand new Nando's and had only been open a few days when we visited. It's obviously very clean and well decorated but it is small and I think the space could have been used a bit better. Squeeze in a few more tables and it still would have felt roomy and comfortable. I would image the wait would be quite long during peak times as the restaurant is in a very busy area.
I think we were the first customers of the day; we were instantly greeted by the friendly staff and seated by the window overlooking the water. By the time I had placed our order a few more customers had arrived and the place started to look busier.
The food arrived very quickly and was cooked to perfection. The chicken was juicy and they were very generous with the flavour. There were more than enough chips to keep me happy (not an easy feat) and the garlic bread was delicious. Any Nando's that is generous with their portions will get a good rating from me.
The staff were polite and helpful throughout our visit, even though our little one had made a terrible mess with her rice (we tried our best to clean up what we could). They weren't overbearing pests either, something which has happened in other Nando's in the past.
We parked about five minutes away for a few quid and took a nice leisurely walk along the water and through Greenwich park after we had eaten. This Nando's is in a great location and we will definitely be visiting again soon.
