it was approx 3pm as I was lost in the grim little Northern town of Halifax, and the friendliness of staff was quite overwhelming, particularly as this was to be my 100th unique Nando's Restaurant (98 UK).
Maybe they were too casual, but it was still polite of them to point out the fact they didn't have chicken at the moment...

chicken aside, after 20+ minute wait, the food was reasonable, with a major level of spice on the chips, and the rest of the food standard.
The restaurant being fairly empty I didn't feel too bad leaving my bag lying around for drink refills

and they did have melted cheese on the Garlic Bread.......!
