A Sunday night visit with James to the newer of the two Hammersmith Nando's meant I made it up to 249 Nando's visited, so the next one will be a big milestone!

Parking is fine nearby on a Sunday and we made our way inside in high spirits. A couple of guys were waiting for a take-away order and it took quite a while before we were attended to and even longer to be shown to a table, particularly as we actually sat ourselves down in the end.

I think it's fair to say supervisor Stefano wasn't having the best day, but he did look after us and apologetically came over to inform James that they were out of butterfly breasts and let him order the substitute of his choice, regardless of price.

My fino chicken pitta was delicious and the peri chips hit the spot, but we did have to ask for a top-up on the peri salt along the way.

This Nando's is far from spectacular and is on the small side. I imagine it has taken the pressure off the original Hammersmith Nando's right opposite the tube where the décor is certainly more impressive. This Nando's was fine overall and certainly good to know about if you're in the area.
