Hammersmith - Broadway - James RYN Review
My visit to Hammersmith Nando's took place on a rather quiet Monday night, and I was immediately seated and there was no queue at the tills. All the staff who served me throughout my visit were friendly and did their job perfectly.
My friend ordered before me, but my food still arrived first. This seemed to be down to the fact that I got the final portion of chips from the batch. It wasn't ideal, since my food arrived 5 minutes earlier, with luke-warm chips, and my friend's arrived late, with steaming-hot chips. If the staff know the food is going to the same table, some better synchronisation would be appreciated! Other than that, the food was pretty good; my burger was much spicier than normal (I had to take a pause to let the heat pass - impressive stuff), though on the small side.
As for the restaurant itself, it is perfectly located just outside of Hammersmith Station, and is done in a nice new Nando's style, with an intriguing giant abacus through the middle. I managed to park very easily on a yellow line just 2 minutes walk away - only possible after 6.30pm though.
Would I go back? Given the ideal location for a concert at the Hammersmith Apollo, I think that will be my most likely reason to revisit.
