Hammersmith - Pompey Ranger Review
This store just over the road from the bustling Hammersmith Broadway is in a key location and whilst well served by public transport I would hate to try to park a car here let alone a minibus. The outside is unassuming and standard in a firm stone building that's on a major road junction.
I was dinning here with my good friend Lola and I was using the gift card that I received in last months competition so was very excited for free chicken.
We started with Houmous which was well filled tub as opposed to some places that give you a ice cream scoop that don't touch the sides and the pita was warm, soft and inviting. Lola ordered a Haloumi cheese which was also perfectly cooked and tasty. My chicken was standard Nando's fayre with little to differentiate it apart from a burnt wing tip which is a minor hate of mine but the chip portion was generous and filling and whilst the corn was charred on one side it was succulent. My friend opted for the new Avocado salad and claimed a half free chicken with her stamp card which as the salad was well sized she took the leg home.
The stores main feature in the seating area is a giant abacus which makes a cool barrier in the store and out the back they have a fine collection of vases and pots on the wall which is colourful and cheerful. Toilets downstairs were clean as was the beverage/sauce counter.
