Harrow - St George's - Marc Joss Review
A very successful visit to Harrow St Georges could be the first of many as it is not too far from my house, there is free, easy parking after 6.30 and the cinema upstairs is rather convenient. Those factors combined with the Nando's itself put this visit near the top of all 138 reviews I've written so far.
The staff welcomed me to the table where Olive and Jason had already settled down and started colouring in their Nando's drawing as responsible working men tend to do.
There was one group ahead of me in the queue and as I waited a nandoca noticed by 70% water, 30% Nando's t-shirt and got rather excited. She then proceeded to point it out to everyone she could including a restaurant manager who subsequently kindly offered me a 20% discount just because of what I was wearing!
I hardly had to wait for my food once I sat down and was pleased to see a decent sized half chicken ready to be destroyed. It was covered in sauce but the very end of the wing was missing which always disappoints me. Peri chips were plentiful and covered in peri salt so that averages out to a 4.
The lighting here is particularly impressive with a huge array of dangling lights which catch the eye. There's a variety of seating available and we were lucky enough to be on a rather comfortable booth with all the sauces on the table ready to be grabbed.
This was a great visit overall. Fully recommended!
