Wandered down to this Nando's during my extended Friday lunch break. It's located almost at the SE corner of Holland Park, on High Street Kensington - a few minutes walk from the station (Circle, District). You could easily miss this Nando's as it has a really drab exterior - a few unloved tables sat outside in the cold late-Autumn air, which made me wonder why they're even there!
Thankfully, the interior of the restaurant is a bit better. Staff were superb at this restaurant, from greeting me at the door right up to ordering and serving, they were amongst the best Nandocas I've come across. The branch itself could do with a spruce up. While some of the lighting and decor is nice, I find it to be less inspired than several other branches I've visited. Sauce station was running very low on condiments and cutlery too. There's lots of different types of seating, and I believe there's a downstairs too but I didn't go there.
Food was good. Halloumi cooked pretty well and the burger likewise. Again, my only gripe about the lack of sauce that comes in the burger in most branches these days! A solid 3-4 restaurant, with superb staff.
On a side note, it was very annoying that Nando's didn't have any Black Friday discounts!
