Having conquered my 150th different Nando's just two days earlier, this was a chance to move ahead of James in the rankings with my 151st, conveniently located just one stop away from where I've been doing some translation work this week.
Hounslow East station is a five-minute walk from the restaurant which sees you also walk past Hounslow Bus station if that is of any logistical benefit to you.
I was greeted after about a minute of standing inside, checking out the decor. Fair to say it was nothing to write home about.
The manager was very friendly and chatty as were the Nandocas I encountered. I was warned my food might take up to 15 minutes and it duly arrived after 10. My chicken was not as saucy as I might have liked, but the peri chips portion was generous and the halloumi slabs were particularly large.
There was a nice feel to the restaurant overall although given its location, I'm unlikely to return anytime soon. The important part of this visit was to tick another one off taking me up to 151!
