Was working in the no-mans land between Ladbroke Grove and Kensal Green so headed up to the Kensal Rise Nando's to grab a takeaway lunch. The branch is located at the bottom of a modern new-build and looks good from the outside.
Couldn't believe my eyes when I walked in, it was almost empty! 1.15pm on a weekday and barely anyone was inside. No Nandoca to greet me at the entrance but didn't bother me and I went straight to the till where I was immediately served. Excellent service and food came a few minutes later. Had a while to gaze around the spacious branch. Nicely decor'd and lots of natural light. Only downside I noticed was the pretty small (albeit well located) service station (would ideally give 4.5 for both staff and decor, hence why I gave one 4 and the other 5).
Food was superb, always better when it's free as I claimed my orange reward (after the shambles at Glasshouse Street); the burger was perfect as was the halloumi.
Still amazed at how empty it was!
