Very surprised at this store as I had heard a lot of negatives but was pleased when got there, It is on the main street in Kentish town near Mediterranean and health food stores where I feel it fits in well. Its placed on a curved corner which gives the interior an unusual shape with large garage like doors towards the back which I suspect open fully in the summer to bring the summer in and potted trees either side of the door. The front was typical table and chair style seating separated from the entrance walkway by a low barrier. At the back of the store was a few booth tables and more standard tables lit by 3 skylights in the ceiling. There were decorative tiles both around the till area and in the kitchen which you can see through the door window. There were several good paintings on the wall with the typical quotes and phrases painted up. The only draw back was the toilets in the basement which were a bit dated and tired with a few cracked tiles, this is where some investment might be utilised.
The staff were friendly and helpful, the eastern European lady was especially friendly when she served at the tills and walked the tables and the bright and friendly staff really made the meal. The chicken was very good and perfectly cooked succulent inside and a nice sized portion very enjoyable. The salad was colourful and well presented, the cobb of corn was good too.
Very happy with this store and would recommend visiting it.
