Comments - Stand out in our monthly competition! What did you eat? Unique aspects? Parking/transport tips?:
This branch is just 5 minutes walk from Kentish Town tube station. First impressions were that it was small and dark, since it's in the bottom 5 I wasn't expecting anything good. We went on a weekday late afternoon and it was empty.
Friendliness of staff - The staff seemed miserable in this branch, maybe they know they're in the bottom 5. Didn't smile when they served me and just shoved the food on our table. We didn't get a thank you as we left. 2/5 for staff.
Speed of Service - The branch was empty so we got seated immediately and served immediately. The food came in under 10 minutes. Not surprising since the branch was so empty. 4/5 for speed.
Food - The food was ok, but the chicken lacked and kind of flavour and was more of a struggle than a pleasure to eat. The garlic bread was undercooked and soggy. The chip portion sizes were average size. The coke from the machine was warm Nd tasted flat. Pretty disappointing. 1.5/5 for food.
Decor - this branch was so dark it was hard to even see most of the decor, I could barely see my food in front of me... It made the atmosphere moody and unpleasant, Also they had no ice machines, just a big box of ice under the tills. When the person serving me asked if I wanted ice in my drink I was really confused. 2/5 for Decor.
Overall this was a disappointing visit to Nando's. Mainly because of the disappointing chicken and the depressing atmosphere. 2/5 overall. I will not be returning here and it's definitely deserving of its place in the bottom 5.
