Kings Cross - Adam Nicol Review
We decided to go to this branch because it’s right next to the station where we all met up. And we couldn’t be bothered traveling across London when we were all really hungry, plus it's rated the best in London.
We arrived about 3pm and the branch was only half full so we got seated on a table for four immediately. I was a bit angry that they seated us on the uncomfortable wooded chairs next to the window when there was a table for four with comfy chairs free just opposite us.
The guy who served me was very rude. He looked miserable and held the card machine where a bunch of people could see me typing in my pin. He just threw my card and the receipt back into my hand, so yes the staff were disappointing this visit.
I struggled to find any extra-extra hot sauce, but eventually found a bottle round the corner hidden behind some vinegar, why do branches have so little of this amazing sauce?!
The food came in under 10 minutes with three of us eating butterfly chicken and one of us a burger. My food was delicious. The garlic bread was cooked perfectly. The portion of chips was really small but the piece of chicken was huge and dripping in extra hot sauce…
So, I’ve been to this branch three times now. The food has been above average 2/3 times, but the portions of chips have been small each time that I’ve been. So Nando’s Kings Cross really needs to sort out it’s chip portion sizes!!!
