I attended the Fifth birthday of Rate Your Nandos, courteously invited by Marc Joss, I was one of the selected few to attend the oversubscribed event. The Nandos staff were very attentive and helpful. The restaurant was very clean and the links to transport perfect for me - right by Kings Cross station and therefore easy access for all.
They do say food tastes better when it's free, and this was certainly the case; chips, corn and chicken aplenty. My only qualm was the lateness of the halloumi wrap which had been promised to me. Upon arrival, albeit 20 minutes after the chicken had arrived, the halloumi was actually better than usual - the slices were slightly thicker and more succulent and fit for a king.
The highlight of the night was the arrival of the nandos chicken himself / herself with a birthday cake for RYN. Happy birthday!
