Kingston - Marc Joss Review
A fabulous Nando's preceded a football match (not Arsenal for once) at the request of SVC and we were joined by Reviewer Dinner regular Adam for a swift lunch before heading off to see AFC Wimbledon v Torquay.
I parked in the multi-storey car park one minute away from Nando's (£1.40 an hour) and although I had to go up to level 14 to find a space, luckily the others went straight in, were seated immediately and ordered straight away. By the time I made my way to Nando's from the car and went to the bathroom, my food was on the table! Absolutely phenomenal speed of service and we concluded it was one of the quickest servings ever! Unexpected on Saturday lunch time but it made the experience stress free as we were short on time and we were actually able to enjoy our food and not have to scoff it down.
The food was lovely but the chicken was on the smaller end of the scale. Some more peri-sauce wouldn't have gone amiss so 3.5 overall.
The decor is rather well done with seating spread over two floors and tills, sauces and drinks stations on both levels. The restaurant is slightly lacking in natural light which is obviously hard to change now but everything is great apart from that. Various eye-catching pieces of art line the walls and it didn't feel at all cramped even when most tables were occupied.
Manager Dani from Malaga was a pleasure to speak to and I'd fully recommend this Nando's!
