Kingston - Gerry Louis Review
Hello again.
Went to Kingston for my Nando's fix as I couldn't get to the Stroud Green branch the night before. Kingston is so out of the way, obscure unless you know where it is or how to find it. Parking is terrible as well so you're better off going by public transport. There are other restaurants nearby like La Tasca and Jamie Oliver so if asking for directions then ask for other restaurants or the police station or Rose Theatre.
I'm lucky I got to this branch when I did as 10 minutes later it got really busy. This branch has an upstairs and down but sometimes the upstairs has no cashiers so you're travelling all over the shop to order and wait for your food. This branch is similar to Feltham in that the service and the food varies from great to crap each time!
Sat between two sets of stupid Uni students and opposite a dad with 4 hyperactive children but that wasn't Nando's fault I picked the table as it was free, my food didn't taste as good as it looked. Half chicken mango and lime, sweet mash and garlic bread. The chicken was cooked well, had plenty of sauce and was really great, no complaints whatsoever. The mash was nice, average portion size and there was something different about the garlic bread compared to others I've had but it didn't make it better.
The staff were polite enough and the place was kept relatively clean!
