Lakeside Shopping Centre - Marc Joss Review
Nando's 200 took place just a few hours after Nando's 199 and involved a short walk in the rain from the shopping centre to the restaurants that line the bank of the lake such as Prezzo, GBK and Wagamama, not that there's much reason to visit any of them!
We had a short wait before being seated at table 1 with lots of babies and families sitting nearby. After queuing to order, I must say I was disappointed with the wait for our food as it approached 25 minutes. When it did finally arrive, it was of a good standard and I enjoyed my churrasco thigh burger having not ordered in many months! I ordered garlic bread as a side and decided to split my thighs over the normal roll and my garlic bread combined with my own perinaise mix and some peri chips too, it went down very nicely!
This Nando's overlooks the lake which is rather nice, but I don't remember any of the décor being particularly eye-catching. The staff did the usual, but nothing in particular to report and I'm not sure we received a goodbye as we walked out. I have to say I preferred Nando's 199, but am of course delighted to have conquered my 200th different Nando's in the world. Here's to the next 100!
