Leamington Spa - Pompey Ranger Review
This store in the centre of Royal Leamington Spa is part of a new development which has been achieved whilst remaining in keeping with RLS historic and pretty environment. Lying in between the Regent hotel and The Town hall it has a lot to live up to in style which it does well in. On street parking is available on Regent grove around the corner which whilst charged for becomes free after 6pm.
The store has double shop frontage in the pedestrianised street and has a rather reserved grey exterior and one tree in a tub alongside some wirework chairs and tables,
Inside is a happy mixture of booth seating along the back wall and behind the centre divide, bench and chair seating along the end wall and the front side of the wavey mixed height centre divide and table and chair approach in the window. The back wall is patterned plaster, end wall bare brick with a few good paintings the front glass with the wooden Nandos in the window and behind the till is Tiled effect. The real prize in this store is the ceiling festooned with wooden upside down parasol like structures in-between which lights hang down. The toilets were bright and well designed, could do with a little clean and someone should definitely fix the toilet seat as it's not very welcoming when its hanging off its fixings.
Staff were friendly and did all the checks which is lucky as they had forgotten my peri sprinkle at first. The guy serving the day we were there defiantly was the work horse of the store multi tasking well. Food was good, chips hot, well cooked and plentiful, chicken cooked to perfection, juicey within, not charred and with plenty of sauce.
A great Nandos to which I hope to return.
