Leamington Spa - Marc Joss Review
A weekend away in Warwickshire meant this would be the first of 2 vists to new Nando's for me alongside the Nando's nails champion herself, SVC.
Parking restrictions in the area seemed to extend until 8pm so we ended up paying and displaying for £1 an hour (10p per 6 minutes) on a nearby street and walking to Nando's down a pedestrianised street housing other eateries such as Yo Sushi.
Festive lights were aplenty on a fresh autumn evening and we were warmly welcomed into this fairly new Nando's and given a lovely, large table for four towards the back. This restaurant was opened in summer 2013 and it shows! The eclectic mix of lighting and rustic ceiling panels make for a unique style of decor that I had not seen in any other Nando's. There was also a pleasant Christmas presentation on the counter with various bottles of Nando's sauce and Santa hats in an enticing present suggestion, ideal for all peri-peri fans.
I ordered with manager Viv who was lovely and the food came after 10 minutes or so. I was happy with my portion size although a tad more kick in the extra hot sauce would have gone down well. This was a lovely Nando's and it seemed to be an ideal one to visit on a Saturday night as although we ate early and left around 7, everyone who came in was seated immediately. Off to Bicester Nando's next!
