Leicester - Granby Street - Ryan Review
The last of the Leicester Nando's visited today - and I arrived there at about 6pm. I was already parked in the cultural quarter car park (which is quite expensive) so had soaked up a little more of the Asian food festival after my Nando's at Highcross!
The area of Granby Street was quite nice. Plenty of shops around on the high street and surrounding areas and other eateries and pubs dotted about.
This branch was quite large too. Quite narrow but long. Seating in the windows, with booths along the left handside. Towards the back there's plnety of tables and chairs. Really nice decor all around the resturant. Some really nice large canvas paintings right at the back, with plenty of nice lighting and pots/sculptures. The toilets were downstairs and again were spotless!
A very friendly welcome from the staff right from the start throughout the meal. Abz (or it may have been Abe) was extremely helpful and likewise Caroline, the manager. Also, just as I ordered, a party of 18 came in and they were quickly seated without any fuss and their order was processed and the meals brought out very soon after mine. Abz again was extremely courteous to this whole group as well - they really were a very good bunch of people.
The food was brought over in under 5 minutes and was to the same high standard experienced at the other two branches earlier in the day. I had another chicken breast burger and chips and these were fantastic. The chicken breast was even more saucy then the last and yet another very good portion size of chips. I stuffed myself on a white/raspberry swirl cheesecake afterwards too... time for a sleep... :-)
Although the other two Leicester Nando's were really good, this one was even better! Good work Nando's!
