The food as Always was fantastic, we were told by a sign that there was a possible delay to our service and receiving our food however, normal speed of service was brilliant. However, our service from the host was appalling to say the least. Firstly, we arrived to see that the queuing system had changed from digital back to giving our names In and we were told the wait was around 30 minutes. I asked if we could walk round a couple shops whilst we waited and the lady said no problem but if they call our table and we weren’t there it would be lost. Around 25 minutes later we returned and was told our name was called “ages ago” and that we would have to go to the back of the queue. I thought the tone of the host was rude to say the least but we went to the back of the queue. Eventually we waited back inside sitting down and overheard customers leaving whilst saying thank you and bye to the host, the young girl hosting simply ignored them and continued to chat to her friend. I understand she might’ve been new or lacking in confidence but surely a smile would’ve sufficed. However, I don’t believe the girl should receive any warnings etc, just proper training on how to be a host. As I say when we sat down we had no problems with the food or service there on in just when we left we said thank you and bye to the same host and she blanked us completely and continued to chat to her friend. Overall, it ruined the experience and I will be hoping for better service next time from someone who knows how to properly deal with customers.
