Comments - Stand out in our monthly competition! What did you eat? Unique aspects? Parking/transport tips?:

Went to this branch a few times back in October/November 2009 - generally always from 8pm onwards. I was local so was able to use the customers car park and walk into town each night time, so I didn't pay too much attention to the parking available - but with it being based around the town centre, I'd imagine there are places available.

Each time I went I was in a groups of 8 or more (I think 10 was the biggest group) and we were always seated within a few minutes. We actually had the same table every time! There's a big round one as soon as you go up to the first floor - and this comfortably sat us each time.

There were a couple of other large groups on our floor, so it seemed good that the groups were separated from the couples. Also, this was the first Nando's I remember going to that was spread over three floors! There wasn't much seating on the second floor, but there was another till point that would open to help with the queue-ing which was good.

It was a bit of a mixed bag with the meals. I never had an issue with mine, but others in the group did have some very greasy chicken. I was happily picking away at the leftovers and came up against some really fatty bits... There were also some long waits between say the sixth and seventh dishes - which is understandable if it were a few minutes, but people who ordered first were long finished before the last dish came.

I'd probably need to go here on my own or in a small group to get the full benefit as they didn't seem to be able to cope with large groups too well.
