I was delighted to win the Nando's super fan competition run by Arndale Nando's on their Facebook page earlier in the year and finally made the trip up to Manchester the day before the United Arsenal match and went in for dinner with three friends at around 18:45 to claim my prize.
Managers Nat and Dan were particularly chatty and enthusiastic and presented me with a Nando's string bag filled to the brim with Nando's goodies including 28 mini bottles of medium peri-peri sauce, a Nando's cap, chicken cheque and a Nando's guitar string!
We were all treated to a complimentary meal due to my Super Fan status and enjoyed some olives to start before devouring various chickens and sides between us. Plenty of sauce, well-cooked chips and decent portion sizes meant food was a 5/5.
Décor has been upgraded to a 5/5 since my last visit due to the stunning Christmas lights in the Arndale which add the perfect festive touch to this Nando's.
The only small problem for me was that they had run out of chocolate cheesecake but I opted for choc-a-lot cake instead which was delicious. Now I just need to work out what to do with 28 bottles of medium sauce! Thank you very much, Arndale Nando's!
