Manchester - Oxford Road - Elliott Review
My last Nando's at this outlet for a long time as I cease to work over the road from this outlet, and my last review as a Northern resident, it seemed fitting to end my Northern spell at the outlet where I have spent most of my time over the past years.
Entered the outlet and was greeted by a friendly Nandoca who showed me to my usual table - a booth on the left hand wall. I pondered the menu for a bit, and after a period of conversation with my friend who was with me to share the experience, we headed for the tills.
The order process was okay, I decided to use an orange reward, however the till automatically redeemed both my orange and green rewards, which was annoying. However, the Nandoca was able to put the green reward back on my card after confirming I didn't want to use it this time!
After that brief interlude, I returned to my table via the cutlery and sauce area. A very short wait ensued, and the meal arrived. I ordered a chicken wrap mango and lime, with chips and garlic bread. The wrap was covered in sauce, very tasty, and the chilli jam really added a lovely kick to it. The chips were good, and the garlic bread was still nice and warm even after leaving it until last. Very enjoyable meal!
The outlet is one of the nicer ones in Manchester. It has capacity for a large quantity of diners, which is good as this outlet gets very full usually after 1230 until the end of the day with students. Some nice booths, and normal seating scattered about. Would without hesitation take anyone to this outlet, which is located just off Oxford Road in Manchester near the Metropolitan University.
