Manchester - Parrs Wood - Pompey Ranger Review
This store is at Parrs wood leisure complex is close by to a Cineworld cinema, casino and several eateries such as Frankie and bennys, Bella Italia and Chiquetos. There is ample free parking in the massive car park though it was quite full on a Friday evening.
There is a large walk way that goes along the outside of the stores and past Nandos, the other side of which is some foliage and the main road. Nandos like it's neighbouring stores has a small seating forecourt out the front which is surrounded by boxed plants. There are red metal chairs around wooden tables.
Inside to the right is a large waiting area (though not large enough today) around a wooden table to allow for waiting for a table or takeaways. The servery is the other side of this with black boards above it. The high ceiling provides plenty of space for feature artwork which is very impressive especially the 3d collage of the powerplant, houses and cement mixer.
The chicken whilst over cooked on the outside was succulent on the inside. The chips and coleslaw whilst good weren't the biggest of portions. The staff did all the necessary checks which is good. They had ran out of knifes and forks when I went to get mine and the staff member didn't seem the happiest when I asked telling me they knew and they were on the way like if it was my fault for asking.
