Manchester - Piccadilly - Blaynos Review
Another overnight stay with work meant another Nando's boneless platter and I headed to the Piccadilly branch before heading off to my hotel in the Trafford Cricket Ground (date again an estimate).
Entered the branch about 5pm and it was half full; but waited a good couple of minutes at the entry and no Nandoca came up. In the end, I just headed straight down towards the till at the back of the branch and noticed a trio of small tables on the side of them - and I just asked the lady behind the till if I could just sit there, to which she obviously said was no problem at all. Ordered the platter with the usual four sides (peri chips, sweet potato wedges, corn and garlic bread) and halloumi.
Unlike the Lincoln branch, the sweet potato wedges were especially large and cooked well, crispy outside and fluffy inside! Didn't bother with the seeds and used normal sauce. Initially my peri salt was forgotten on chips but that was rectified quickly. Chicken was cooked well - butterfly burger and one of the thighs perhaps a tad small but they were all very juicy. The branch is at the heart of Manchester city centre next to a Morrisons and Zizzi and right by the trams. It's a deep branch with lots of seating inside.
