Manchester - Printworks - Ryan Review
As a colleague and I were around the Manchester area for a few days, this was the second of four new Nando's for us - and, it was a disappointment.
It is located within the Printworks complex (The Triangle) and so parking is at a premium. I am sure locals would just hop on the tram but as we were out of towners, we drove in and even though I am used to parking in Brum City Centre, I found the parking here to be very expensive (£7+ for a few hours).
We arrived at approx 7:30pm and unfortunately had a 35+ minute wait. This doesn't seem uncommon as we have visited after this date too and had a long wait then as well.
It wasn't a problem though as it's round the corner from Norwegian Blue so we popped in there for a drink first.
Once we were seated, there was a 5 minute queue to order - but, even though it was clearly very busy, the food came in just over 5 minutes.
Sadly, it did seem quite rushed as the food wasn't particularly hot nor particularly flavoursome. We both had to turn to the table sauce to ensure we received our peri-peri hit.
We each had half a chicken with two sides and I also ordered a portion of nuts, he ordered olives.
The staff were very friendly and when queue-ing kept apologising for the wait. It also gave us chance to scope and for a prime Manchester location, we were expecting more funky decoration - but nonetheless, it still had the Nando's charm.
