This relatively new Nando's is the closest one to Old Trafford and was understandably packed ahead of the FA Cup quarter-final. Our group of 5 had to wait around 20 minutes before being seated and ordering some peri-peri goodness.
This Nando's looks great. There is plenty of natural light and the walls are nicely done. A large red heart greets you as you walk into the toilets too.
My order went through quickly as I claimed a red reward. My food came quickly, although instant disappointment ensued as I realised my peri-peri salt was missing. A manager soon resolved the issue although the food still gets a 2.5 as the chicken wasn't particularly saucy or spicy. The garlic bread and halloumi were great.
We then crossed a bridge and within 10 minutes we were outside Old Trafford to see the mighty Arsenal advance into the semi-finals. A new Nando's visit and an Arsenal win, simply perfect!
