Manchester - Salford Quays - Leong Review
After watching the film Dad's Army, and had a good laugh at the Vue Cinema, 4 of us decided to have something to eat. Nando at Salford Quays was our choice. It was only walking distance from the cinema. The restaurant is right next to the river over look the bright light of the Media City. Parking was free for 3 hours at the Salford Quay.
As we walked in, we were welcome by one of the waitresses. The restaurant was not busy. It was late around 10:00 in the evening. I guess most people would have eaten by that time of the night. We choose to sit by the window o that we can enjoy the view of the river and the lights.
The restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. I like the bee hive shape lamp shade hanging from the ceiling. The art work on the wall were beautiful. We had a quick look at the menu and we decided to choose a no bone meal platter and a full platter. We also choose to have garlic bread, chips, coleslaw and salad as side dishes. We choose one meal with Lemon and Herbs and the other with medium hot sauce.
Our food did not take long to arrive. When I went over to get our dishes and cutlery, unfortunately there were not paper napkin left. The waitress offers us some blue hand towels instead. It was a bit of a let down.
We enjoyed our delicious chicken meal and the view across the river and the illumination of the Media city. Two members of our party are NHS work. We got a 20% of our bill. Good Value for our money. We will definitely come back again may be watch another film and follow by a Nando meal.
