Comments - Stand out in our monthly competition! What did you eat? Unique aspects? Parking/transport tips?:
We were the first people in the restaurant at 11.30 on a gloomy Monday morning in need of a quick Nando's fix at my 120th different UK Nando's but that did not quite go as planned.
We placed our orders with manager Darren who was very friendly and enthusiastic (especially for a Monday morning) at around 11.40 and at the time were the only Nandoers in the restaurant. You can see why the other reviews have rated this Nando's so highly especially for décor. The big glass front allows for plenty of natural light (weather permitting) which is complemented by the impressive dangling lights and modern feel to this Nando's.
Our efforts to have a swift Nando's were scuppered by a temperamental grill which saw Darren provide us with an 'altogether now' starter to make up for the wait. Our food ended up coming around half an hour after ordering. Not ideal! It was of a high standard though: spicy, big portions and saucy. Speed of service was the only thing to let this Nando's down! Fully recommended apart from that.
