Merthyr Tydfil - Pompey Ranger Review
This store is under the wing of a Vue cinema where it nestles for competition with Harvester, McDonalds and Subway along with a funky looking Chinese restaurant. The leisure complex benefits from a whole host of free parking and is well placed between the A470 and the town centre.
The store was spacious with form benching making a wall around the central seating and table area. Lots of good quality art work decked the walls.
After a bit of a wait we received loads and loads of well cooked chips, an excellent portion. The chicken however was burnt and charred, we complained about this and were getting the feeling that south Wales isn’t the home of good Nandos after our previous experiences. The waitress tried to tell us that is how Nandos do food and that some people ask for it to be charred more. When we said that isn’t how we normally get it and we have been to Nandos before. We then got a replacement half very quick which was perfectly cooked throughout, succulent, juicy and just as we would want it.
