Metro Centre - Qube - Elliott Waters Review
Trip to the Metrocentre is not complete without a Nando's.
Entered, and was shown a table almost straight away, which was roughly in the centre of the outlet. Pondered the menu for a while, and went to order. Waited a short while to order, and was served by a pleasant Nandoca who navigated my order with ease, returning to my table.
The outlet is rather open plan, with a few lines of plants separating tables. The till and grill point are at the back, with tables scattered all over the centre and left of the outlet. Next to the right hand wall is the walkway to reach the tills, cutlery, drinks, and toilets.
I waited around 10 to 12 minutes for the meal, and when it arrived I wasn't dissapointed. The portion sizes were quite generous, and the meal itself was delicious. I ordered a 1/4 chicken medium with chips and garlic bread. The chicken was nice and tender, with the skin nice and crisp. The chips were warm and fresh, with the garlic bread just right. Not a bad meal overall!
The outlet is located on the upper level of the Yellow mall, near the Odeon cinema, and next to Frankie & Benny's. Parking is ample and free, although it does get very busy! You can also reach the Metrocentre via public transport, by bus or train at the Blue Mall interchange.
