Oh Nandos, yet again Middlesbrough fails to deliver. I read reviews on here saying the store is excellent, but sadly another visit that is quite far from it!

Entered, and we're taken to a table, minus any interaction from the staff. Placed near the window, roughly in the middle. The seating arrangement hasn't changed since last visit. It's still very cramped in, and not very good at all. I went to order, and waited a while, before my order was placed. A fairly reasonable order process, noting to moan about here. Took my glass to the drinks machine, which was, as per, full of ice. Picked up some cutlery, which had essence of food on it, so picked up a different set, returning to my table.

Took 35 minutes for the food to arrive, which is pretty bad considering the outlet was ony half full. I ordered a Chicken Burger Hot, with rice and salad. When the goods did arrive, it wasn't great. The burger didn't look very advertising, the rice was stone cold, only plus point was the salad, which was ice cold. A sliver of tomato was provided in the burger, with a bit of shrivelled lettuce. The chicken was a bit tough in places, with hardly any sauce lashed on top. The bread was a bit stodgy too, not great. Most certinally one of the worst Nandos I've had, and about in line with the others I've had here.

The outlet is still looking very tired, and does need some TLC. Always appears a bit dirty too, not helped by all the tables being very close together, making cleaning quite difficult.

And as I continue to write this, 20 minutes after finishing my meal, with the outlet looking decidedly empty and scruffy, I still have my empty plates on the table, along with the Nandos Chicken on the table.
