Comments - Stand out in our monthly competition! What did you eat? Unique aspects? Parking/transport tips?:

Went to this one a couple times while working in Middlesbrough and had one good experience and one bad experience.

Locals may know of more parking around, but I parked in Market Place car park from what I remember - and half of it was free and the other half was Pay and Display, so watch out for that if you park here. It was very cheap anyway and a very short walk to the restaurant.

There's a cinema next door and so it was busy both times. Arrived about 8pm both times. The first time there wasn't a wait to be seated, to queue for food or for the food to come - but the other time there was a 20+ minute wait to be seated (even though were tables for the five of us available), a 20+ wait to order the food and a further 20+ wait for the food to come. There was only two days apart from the visits so strange how it could change so quickly!

The quality of the food differed too - good tender saucy chicken the one night and burnt, luke-warm chicken the next. The atmos was great both times though. Probably best to get there earlier and try and beat the crowds at this one! Sadly for me, the worse of the two experiences outweighed the good one...
