Middlesex Street - Marc Joss Review
Almost a year on from my first visit and apparently very little has changed. I imagine this branch is busy every evening regardless of the day of the week, especially when the downstairs section is closed. Luckily our party of 4 was sat almost immediately (had it been 5, the wait would have been considerably longer) and there was only a short queue before our orders were taken. The food did arrive somewhat sporadically with one member of the group not receiving his extra hot quarter with mango and lime (an order which was unheard of in this branch yet widely recommended in others) until a good 7 or 8 minutes after the rest of us.
There was no extra extra hot sauce on display but I was brought my very own portion immediately by a willing member of staff, thumbs up!
As for the decor, the red chilli pepper lighting does give the branch that something extra which you come to expect from central London branches. If you are planning a Wednesday night visit to the Comedy Cafe in Shoreditch, this Nando's is perfectly located to give you a good 10 minute walk to let the food digest before you sit down for some free stand up!
All in all, a good Nando's!
