My partner’s food was served when mine wasn’t ready. I had to wait half an hour to get my food by which time my partner had completely finished. We had gone out on a date and wanted to eat our food at the same time so this was very upsetting. However, Joao came and apologised when he realised what had happened. He handled it fantastically, with a lot of understanding, and proactively gave us free desserts as a sorry. He even stayed late on his shift to make sure we were okay. He dealt so brilliantly with such a bad situation and made everything feel completely okay again. Joao is a star and a huge asset to that team, Nando’s should consider themselves very lucky to have him. That was best I have ever had a problem resolved and some of the positive customer service I’ve ever received.
