This store on Mile End road is positioned under a park bridge on the main road and is surrounded by restaurants and opposite a Budgens supermarket. Parking is a mission in this area but we found a car park 5 minutes walk away south at Mile End park leisure centre on Burdett road which is only £1 for 2 hours.

The store has a large window front with form style faux leather seating which curves round at the back, the till is on the left upon entering. In the middle of the store is a circular staircase which leads up to a mezzanine floor with a small amount of further seating and the toilets.

The welcome staff member was very friendly and helpful and due to there being 15 of us arriving dashed upstairs and put tables together so we could all sit together, the man who served me was also very friendly and helpful. The staff score was brought down by the waiting staff who weren't as friendly and who had a language barrier which is why I guess they were carrying plates rather than operating the till.

Another problem which was a pain straight away was the cutlery pots were empty when I went across as was the plate stack so I had to ask a member of staff to go get some for me. Also where we were sat upstairs there was no sauces, service stand or beverage dispenser which meant returning downstairs for anything and everything.

Food was fast as not everyone had even been served at the till when our food arrived. My chicken was burnt and they had forgotten to put the peri peri salt onto the chips. Explaining this was met with a bit of a language barrier and I had to get my receipt out to make the point to get the peri peri salt brought up. One of my friends who had ordered a 1/4 chicken meal with a extra stamp card 1/4 chicken on top didn't get brought his extra 1/4 and again the language barrier was a nightmare as when he got his receipt out the staff member wouldn't accept it and was trying to charge him extra money and even took another £5er off him down to the till. I told him to man up and that was unacceptable to be ripped off that way and sent him downstairs to resolve the issue which he eventually managed to do to get his collector cards free 1/4 but it shouldn't have had to resort to this.

This kind of put me off the store quite a bit
